In South Africa, about 7 out of 10 children live without fathers. Camp David exists to address this crisis by restoring the hearts of men and raising up godly fathers.

Family

Psalm 127:1

God created marriage between a man and a woman for multiplication and raising godly children. Families are the building blocks for society and the primary place where faith is passed on.

Community

Proverbs 27:17

Men need vital relationships and support and unity within God's family. Iron sharpens iron — community is essential for every man's journey.

Obedience

Matthew 28:18-19

Men are called to reach others. Obedience is God's love language. Through the Great Commandment and the Great Commission we love God and make disciples.

Integrity

Micah 6:8

Godly men live lives of character and integrity — with transparency, holiness, and a commitment to doing what is just, loving mercy, and walking humbly.

Strength

1 Corinthians 16:13

Men walk in the humility, strength and power that comes through the Holy Spirit — standing firm, acting courageously, and doing everything in love.

Why We Exist

Our Calling

God has called Camp David to restore Christian masculinity through three strategic pillars.

Serve the Church

We exist to serve and strengthen the local church, not replace it. Camp David equips men to be faithful, active members of their congregations.

Build Community

Men need authentic community to grow, heal, and thrive. We create spaces where iron sharpens iron through intentional relationships.

Transform Society

When men are restored, families flourish and communities are transformed. This is kingdom work with eternal impact.

A four-stage discipleship journey, from surrender to sending.

Initiate

Surrender to Christ. Address repentance, forgiveness, and identity — discovering who you are as a son of the Father.

Demonstrate

Deepen your relationship with God through discipleship — growing in faith, obedience, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Activate

Transition to independent leadership while mentoring others. Step into your calling to lead and disciple men.

Relocate

Release men to pursue their individual calling — walking in spiritual independence and reproducing what they have received.

What We Believe

Statement of Faith

1We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God — the ultimate authority for faith and life.

2We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary — very God and very man.

4We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

5We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

6We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

7We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

8We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost — they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

9We believe in the creation, test and fall of man as recorded in Genesis; his total depravity and inability to attain divine righteousness apart from God.
